Terms and conditions.

Last updated 15 October 2026

These terms apply when you use maitrimanthan.org or donate to Maitri Manthan Sansthan. By using the site or making a donation, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Who we are

This website is run by Maitri Manthan Sansthan, a society registered under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act, 1958 (Regd. No. 98/Udaipur/2013-14), with its office at New Navratan, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001. "We", "us" and "our" mean the society.

Donations

A donation is a voluntary gift. You receive no goods or services in return.

All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR). We do not add any fee to your donation.

At present we accept donations only from Indian citizens, paid from Indian bank accounts, or from cards and UPI apps issued in India. If we receive money from a foreign source, we return it to the account it came from.

We are registered under 12A and approved under 80G of the Income-tax Act. If you ask for an 80G receipt and give your PAN, your donation can qualify for a tax deduction as the law allows. For a copy of our 12A or 80G certificate, email us.

How payments work

Online donations are processed by Razorpay, a payment gateway authorised by the Reserve Bank of India. You can pay by UPI, debit or credit card, net banking or wallet, as offered at checkout. You can also give by scanning our UPI QR code or by bank transfer.

Your card, net-banking and UPI PIN details go straight to Razorpay and your bank. We never see or store them.

A donation is complete only when your bank confirms the payment. If money leaves your account but the payment fails, Razorpay or your bank returns it automatically, usually within 5 to 7 working days.

Monthly donations

If you choose to give monthly, you authorise us to collect the same amount each month through Razorpay until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, as our Cancellation and Refund Policy explains.

How we use donations

We use your donation for our charitable work in Rajasthan. If you choose a cause, we use it for that cause. If that work is fully funded or cannot go ahead, we use it where the need is greatest across our programmes.

Our accounts are audited every year by an independent chartered accountant.
